In
the future we plan to bring online “Fair Trade Stores”
that will see products exported out of the Philippines
and will be made available through online purchasing in
Canada, and elsewhere in the world.
The principal behind this online venture is to open the
door to small business entrepreneurs in the Philippines,
talented craftsmen, and other small Filipino businesses
a chance to market their goods abroad. To insure they
will be able to compete in a global market and at the
same time insure they get “Fair Trade” prices for their
goods.
Each business will have their own online store, so they
can build on the reputation of quality products they
will make available to you.
Our role in this venture is to insure the customer gets
the products they pay for, as well as insure the “Fair
Trade Vendor” gets paid for their goods.
The primary reason the Philippines today is a third
world nation is due to the exploitation of it's cheap
labor, with nearly all of the profits going to
the richest nations in the world.
Once we are set up, please help end the cycle of poverty
by supporting Filipino Trade, by buying through fair
trade practices.
We will not
carry products already sold by other "Fair Trade"
organizations, our products will be "exclusive", and
only from the Philippines.
