~  Let It Snow ~

The skies may be dark twinkling above
The moon may be glowing dim,
The warm sun may not appear
But, I still want to remember Him.

The wind may blow cold at me
Draughts batter at the door,
Raw snow crunch underfoot
But, I will seek to love Him the more.

The purse may be lighter this year
My friends moved far away
The larder stand staring at me a trifle bare
But, my heart desires to praise today.

For I know that He loves me
And His care for me will never cease,
I am safe held in His hand
Covered by a blanket of peace.
