~ Christmas Tree ~

Christmas tree with your lights so bright
So beautiful you still shine in the night
So much joy you once did bring
When I could with a happy heart sing.

The angel still crowns your top
Everything with you is much the same
You remind me of that Holy night
That JESUS to earth came.

But so heavy tonight is my heart
As from my loved ones, I am apart
I feel so sad and alone
My dad, sister and loving husband
This year are from me gone.

Dear precious Prince Of Peace
Please fill me with love
As to YOU up in heaven I reach.
Give to me once again, the joy of the season
Take away my hurt and pain
Fill me with YOUR special peace once again.
